SENIOR INDUSTRY EXECUTIVES APPOINTED TO DELIVER THE PEAK VISION

Specialist downhole tool provider, Peak Well Systems [Peak] has announced two senior executive appointments that will help to drive forward the company’s growth plans over the next decade.

The company, previously Peak Well Services, has also launched a new brand identity to better reflect its business of designing and developing industry leading intervention technologies that will improve well performance.

Mark Nicol joins as global sales director for Peak Well Systems, responsible for developing the company’s global sales reach and capabilities. Mark joins Peak after 17 years at Weatherford International, most recently as director of global business development for the well completion technologies business unit. Mark will be based out of the company’s premises in Aberdeen, UK.

Gus Brown joins as head of engineering for Peak Well Systems and will be instrumental in further improving the company’s world-class engineering capabilities. Gus joins from Hunting Energy Services, where he was responsible for the continuous development of its well intervention equipment technologies and a key driver in the expansion of its engineering design capacity. Gus will be based at the Peak offices in Perth, Australia.

Peak Well Systems is a leading specialist in the design and manufacture of downhole products. The company is recognised for providing both operators and service companies with an extensive range of innovative well intervention products, technical engineering solutions, and operational product support.

The company has developed a product range that includes high performance wireline fishing tools and industry leading flow control devices that can be set safely on slickline anywhere in the tubing without the need for nipple profiles and hazardous setting tools. Notably, during the past 12 months, Peak has significantly expanded its patented monobore SIM System range of products and associated flow control devices and is becoming the retrievable bridge plug of choice by all the leading operators around the world.
